The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania recently held a check presentation at the Walmart Distribution Center 6080.  The Walmart Foundation donated $1,000 through its community grant program to support the Club’s after school activities.  The employees also recently volunteered at the central Scranton facility a minimum of 25 hours per person.  To show corporate support of volunteerism, the Walmart Foundation donated $250 per employee as a result.  The employees conducted various maintenance projects including, but not limited to, painting, carpet installation and landscaping.  At the check presentation are front row are (l-r) Julianne Kalasinski, Club development Director; Gary Hicks; Tricia DiBiasi Thomas, Club executive director; Charles Knott; and Regina Robert.  Middle row are (l-r) Ernie Crumb, Eddy Acosta and Jason Considine.  Back row are (l-r) Chris Steiner, Rohan Lyle and Mark McDonald.
