Club members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania enjoyed eating blueberry pie at the annual Hyland Day Picnic.  Members also participated in a variety of activities that enhanced their social skills.  Pictured are Elis Hummel (left) and Anna Osieski (right)

After a fun filled day of activities at the annual Hyland Day Picnic, Emily Haines (left) and Mira Haines (right) participated in a pie eating contest.  This annual picnic event is named after Dr. Hyland who is a strong advocate for bettering the lives of underprivileged children.  His sponsorship to the Club has made a strong impact in the community.
