The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania recently held a staff training on bullying. Pictured is Marci McDade Barnansky, a current guidance counselor at West Scranton Intermediate School, training the staff at the Club. Mrs. Barnansky volunteered her time to implement this training for Club staff members. Mrs. Barnansky was a former school teacher in the Scranton School District and a former camp counselor at the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA. Topics in the training on bulling included the effects, signs of, approaches/strategies, types of, how to “bully proof”, and laws governing cyber bullying.
